1999 Syrah - A blend of 80% Syrah and 20% 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon.
1999 Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley, 100% Cabernet. Grapes came from Steltzner Vineyards. The wine was fermented to dryness in 50 gallon plastic fermenters & aged in a 30 gal French Oak barrel for 13 months in my wine cellar at a controlled temperature of 60&Mac251; f. The Syrah was blended with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon to mellow the spicy Syrah flavor. This wine can be consumed with a variety of foods.
