Debuting in 1997, Valley Girls wine is deeply rooted in friendship, fun and desire to make excellent wine.
Rutherford vineyard grapes picked at the optimum moment are hand crafted into premium Napa Valley Wine. All our wines are aged in new American oak barrels under the care of winemakers who spend the balance of their waking hours shopping at Nordstrom. Utilizing classic Bordeaux varietals we strive to make wines that blend science and art, much like Manolo Blahnik make shoes. While enchewing traditional wine terminology we aspire to create wine that in some years slides like silk stockings over shapely legs and, in others, is more like your Sugar Daddy: Big, fat and rich. In the end, our philosophy about the wine can be summed up simply: "It's like... red!".
In the past Home Winemakers we have tauted slogans such as "Our Lips Are Everywhere" and "These are the Best Jugs Here" (barrel tasting our "Bad Hair-Day Cuvee" from one-gallon jugs)
